Normal map seams

Im trying to make some normal maps for creases and folds in these trousers (or pants :P) but im getting some nasty seams at the bottom. I’m using the max8 zmapper config. Is there anyway to prevent this or maybe fix them manually? Cheers

Edit: Haha, nevermind. Found the fix seams button :stuck_out_tongue:

what do your UVs look like?

I don’t know. I was actually posting this on behalf of a friend and i think he was using AUV’s but he says he has fixed it now.

If you open the actual normal map in Photoshop, you can go in and manually smooth or smudge those hard creases away. Save it then reapply in program to view results, do over again if needed until you get what you want. :smiley:
