normal map problem

hi!

I’ve created a eurocoin in zbrush. When i generate the normal map it has a lot of weird bulges and bumps that i didn’t sculpt in…
see atachment for details.

does anyone know what i’m doing wrong?

I created the details with projection master and alpha’s with the drag rect tool.

Zbrush assumes you’re using 180° smoothing for all of your surfaces.
Without seeing your actual lowpoly mesh it will be hard to see if you have a proper mesh for that type of detail.
