I am trying to generate a normal map in Zbrush and I am getting some issues, if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
Map A: is the normal map that generates in Zbrush
Map B: is the object space normal map that generates in Zbrush
When I apply map A to my model it is buggy. Looking at the normal map it seems to be going concave. But in map B it is popping out. You can see the nice extrusion of B but the color is all wrong for the normal map I want.
If anyone knows why this is happening please let me know. I have spent hours trying to figure it out. I have tried all the buttons in the normal map tab, flipped every color, in every different combination. Sorry that the map is so small, I had the whole thing UV laid out but I was trying some tests to get it to work and trouble shooting.
