normal map geneneration problem

I used the 4.0 Zbrush version to generate a normal map from my model, and its not work well some place looks like the pixel are too big and every model is very strange, I got some print screens, the geometry was in 1, and the software that I use was Maya Mental Ray render

Seems like not enough pixel in those area, try relax the UV mesh. I’ve had problem generate second normal map and had to delete the first.

For me looks like the size of the map is too small, somebody know how to increase the size of normal map before generate it?

You set the size for all maps in the Tool>UV Map>UV Map Size slider.

Thank you guys I increased the size of the map but its looks like theres a lot of strange problems, somebody had any kind of problems in generate normal maps in the new Zbrush 3.5 R? Because in the old models that I have made in Zbrush 3 with zmapper I Had not problems like this ones.

that is kinda horrid looking, weird too…and yes, i really do miss Zmapper…we had WAY more control to how the map looked…

I fell like I got, I not sure yet but looks like it works, What I made different is: could be nothing but worked, I used the HD sudvision and made some details and then back to level geometry that I could export the maps and generated normal and displacement, They worked well, for me the proces in the new Zbrush is:
Up to HD geometry made the detail
Down to geometry 1 or 3 think depending the base mesh to geometry
Incrise the size of maps in UV maps to 2048 or 4096 ( in my case its the body but could be smallest if I did just the bust)
Generate normal and displacement
