Normal Map Depth Issues in Mental Ray Rendering.

I’m having an issue getting my Zbrush Zmapper normal maps to display correctly in Mental Ray for maya 2008. The main problem I’m having is that I can’t control the bump depth of the Tangent Space Normals In Mental Ray at all. Maya Software allows me to see changes this setting, but Mental Ray doesn’t show depth change even though I have it changed.

Simple Bump Maps seem to allow me to change their depth. Its just when I change my Maya lambert From “Use As: Bumps” to “Use As: Tangent Space Normals” all bump depth is disregarded.

Any ideas? Do I need to create a specialized shader network?

Any further help on this isuue , I need to bring down the depth orf the normal map as oppose to increasing it cause I am using it for adding further detail to my mesh which is High poly. I need the normal map depth to be suble as with the current value its inflating my model. Any help with this ??? I am using Maya MR to render .
