Noob question in image plane

Hi I’m new at Zbrush and have a question in regards to image planes. Does anybody know how to project an image properly on pm3d plane in Zbrush? Would that even be considered the best method for referencing? Thanks :smiley:

Hey thanks for the help the image plane worked great, but is there a way to project it on a plane like maya? This way it’ll be more convenient to scale it, hide it, and move it.

there is the way where you import it as a texture and then divide the plane a couple of times and drag and drop it on there.It works to , but you will have some million extra polygons in the project.So just import the texture.Then turnoff Zadd and turn on Mrgb or Rgb.Then select dragrect under the brush menu.Then just drag and drop the image.:wink:
