NOOB Question: How to use an object to cut through another?

Heya, new (or slow to learn) ZB user.

I’m trying to use a rectangular block to cut through another shape (see image included).

The reason I want to do it this way is that I want the pyramid-like shape to have inner walls where the rectangular block was. I can simply make a cut using SliceRect, but this doesn’t leave me with the walls that I want.
Hope this makes sense.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you.
Sorry, I’ll try to post in the correct place next time.

Watching the vid. In it they use Dynamesh. Is there a way of doing the same actions but with low-ploy tools?
The project is going to be a sub-component and so I’m trying to keep poly count really low (max 80k points).

Thanks again.

That is the best way to do boolean operations in ZBrush. You can always use ZRemesher to get it back to a low poly Tool.

Ok, I will have to adapt my workflow, I think.

Thanks - I’m still quite new to ZB.
