noob, need advice for a model

Hi,
I do a project , well I am at the first step, creating a bad guy.I have some noob problems that I could nt solve ( and a lot more :cry: ).Well the first one is a hand created by a zsphere,I ve try to smooth, move and now :qu: .The pic will explain.The second problem is the perpecstive view there something wrong,and the third, the model have a unwanted asian look.

p.s i was nt sure if this post goes in this section of the forum or the troubleshooting.

All noobs are welcome here, (If they let me post here then anybody can muahaha). :o
I see what you mean about the hands. Have you tried to lower the sub division level a few and smooth the wrist area? if you are at a high division level the smooth brush will do very little.

also, when you divide the mesh you lose some detail if you have the smt ( subdivide smooth modifyer) on, its right next to the divide button. under tool-geometry.
I just found this thing. I like to leave it off now and manualy smooth the mesh. I got tired of the mesh rounding off too much.

As for the face, it looks like you have all the features started, now it time for the tedious part :p.
