This is a sketch sculpt I finished off recently. I was looking at a lot of Jordu Schells work and lots of maquette sculpts in the lead up to doing this. The darker image is a comp of render passes in photoshop and the brighter images are renders from keyshot. Thanks for looking!

Influenced by fowl carcasses, ‘Headcrabs’ (Half-Life), ‘Facehuggers’ (Alien), and DOOM.
Nicknamed by the miners who used to work on Kit-c 3n. The ‘Kisser’ launches itself at the head of its victim sinking its teeth into the face, then its ‘lips’ envelop the head and it applies pressure until the head snaps off like a grape! Nice.
I’d recommend looking at the larger images to get up close with this thing.
