Subtool master is going crazy on my model. Iv opted to have each subtool in a layer. When I go to apply a pose, I get a message “No match Data Sub tool” Then I get the message “The topology of the mesh has changed”.
I sellect no,Zbrush either rips apart the model when completed, rips a sub tool apart, or only applys the pose to some sub tools.
Also when masking the legs that have tight leggings over the top, only the legs remain unmasked, the leggings get the mask applied.
I’m assuming you mean Transpose Master…
Transpose Master needs two things to work:
If the vertex count has changed for a SubTool then you’ll get a mismatched data message.
If the name has changed you may get a missing data message. If the plugin can’t locate the SubTool by name then it will try to match the vertex counts.
Did you try transferring a pose without the ‘Layer’ option? And is the ztool from a previous version of ZBrush?
On masking: it’s best to use lasso masking. Topological masking won’t work well because the TPose mesh is made of separate geometry.

Sounds like these things that cause this problem I have no control over. I havent tryed without Layer option yet as I was trying out new additions toZbrush that aid in my workflow. Yes this Tool was made in V3.5 r3. With the same tool im even getting issues with layers holding a pose. The pose just gets pushed to far it seems.
