No image showing in PS when applinked

Hi everyone,
I am using Zbrush 3.1 on a HP Pavillion DV6000 running Windows Vista Ultimate Service Pack 1 64bit with Dual Core 1.83GHz processor with 2 gig of RAM.
My problem is when I drop a mesh and use the Zapplink tool Photoshop opens as per usual but no image loads into the workspace.
I am using Adobe Photoshop CS3.
Any suggestions would be hot.

Thanks guys and gals.

With Vista, setting ZBrush to run as administrator should solve this.

Thank you so much for your help. This fixed the problem. Many thanks.

Ok now I have run into another problem. I am able to Zapplink into photoshop and have the image appear. However when I make my texturing modifications, flatten the image, save and then switch back to Zbrush it does not detect any changes and the texture does not update. Any more help would be greatly appreciated.

If that happens, do not accept the option to return to ZBrush. Instead, return to Photoshop. Create a new layer and merge it with the editing layer. The save the document again and return to ZBrush. This time it should go through correctly.

Unfortunatly no success. When I flatten and save then go back into Zbrush the option screen to either return to external editor or leave unchanged and return to Zbrush has dissapeared. I am able to press Zapplink again but when I do this it needs to update the canvas in PS which essentially clears the work I have just done on the image.
I did try the add a layer flatten again and save method but it didn’t work.

Ok I have found a solution for anyone else suffering the same problems. Use the ZApplink views method found under ZApplink Properties in the Document drop down. Everything seems to work normally when using Applink this way.
