Nightmarish Mannequin Ballerina

Hello guys. It’s been quite a while since I posted here!
Here’s my new design (heavily inspired from the Silent Hill series).

You can also find the link to the online tutorial here: http://www.digitaltutors.com/tutorial/1125-Designing-a-Scary-Female-Monster-in-ZBrush

Cheers!

No comments? :frowning:
I’d love to hear what you guys think!

Hi Fabrizio! I think most of digital tutors videos don’t display top class work from artists doing them, but are better in that regard for inspiring learning, and not getting someone new put off by level he can’t reach. I personally think that is the case here, and that you have produced much much more powerful pieces privately and people don’t seem to appreciate something that is not that level. But I might be wrong

Cheers

Yeah you might be right. As a matter of fact I didn’t spend a lot on this piece since it’s for learning, yet, still I do like it very much and some of my friends at spectral motion loved it! Even if it’s not my top level work of course. Anyhow, I hoped to get more comments
This image was not meant to show tons of details but, as digital tutors requested, a super horror concept image a client would ask. And I have done client work that’s 5 times lower in quality than this one! I could have done it much better yeah, but I had 90-100 minutes of time to make it from A to Z so I thought I reached a pretty good horrying beast :frowning:
Probably the render doesn’t do justice since the ZTL model and texture are quite detailed.
I would post more images but since no one commented I probably won’t
Yet anyway, I must thank you for at least writing something bro

I for one would love to see some closeups of the high poly of your work I know it will evoke more comments :+1:

You mean of this horror beast or of some new work?
Haven’t been working on personal work for quite some time since I have too much work :frowning:
But I can post some high res images and close ups of this one if you’d like!

Very cool model! And nice render

Thank you!
Here’s a few other shots of the Living Mannequin and a few shots of another character I’m doing for a magazine.
Wish I have more free time for personal work but with client work, girlfriend, insomnia and stress issues is really hard for me to find 3-4 days to make a new piece.
Anyhow, enjoy
Everything is rendered in Zbrush which does quite a great job simulating complexed skin surfaces!
Cheers to everybody!
