Hi everyone,
I’ve been coming to zbrushcentral for a while now and I am always amazed by the talent on display here. I’ve finally built up the courage to post some of my work.

I was inspired after seeing the amazing work of Jordu Schell. Especially his concept sculpt of Neytiri. I tried to capture the same feeling he managed to capture in his sculpt. Hope you like it. :slight_smile:

I am very familiar with the sculpt and I have to say, you did a fantastic job. All of this from just Jordu’s photos? Good stuff!!

Neville - Thanks. I had a lot of other reference images to get some of the clothing and accessories right, but Jordu Schell was my main source of inspiration.

Cordycep - haha thanks mate, glad I made the bond :wink:

Train22 - The braids were modelled in Maya using a similar technique to this. Then using the lattice deformer and soft selection I placed the braids where I wanted them. It was a bit time consuming, but I was able to get the placement I wanted.

Webhead - Thanks, hope you like videos.
