Finally got some time to sit down and play with ZB4, but seem to be getting nowhere fast.

I wanted to mess around with ZSketch, and following the video tutorials, it doesn’t seem to work.

I start out with a ZSphere, hit a Shift-A, and the two-tone sphere DOES NOT turn into a solid material as in the video. The ‘Edit Sketch’ under ZSketch on the right IS highlighted, but nothing happens. When I try to ZSketch on the sphere, all I get is a single sphere - and not a continuous line of spheres as in the video. Just one single sphere after another.

Sorry for the stupid questions, but I can’t seem to get anything to work as shown in the video tutorials.

I’m on a Mac Pro, and using an Intuous4 tablet.

Any help to get me started would be much appreciated!

After you draw your ZSphere, make sure you enable the Edit button (T key)

Thanks, zber2! That was a little something the video failed to mention.

Also, when after hitting a shift-A, the ZSphere does not change into a solid material until AFTER you select a different material from the ZSketch pallet.

Think it’s time for them to update their vid tutorials a bit! :wink:
