I just purchased Z brush to compliment my architectural illustration practice and I am going through the tutorial. Version 4. If I draw a sketch tube away from an armature using any sketch tool I am supposed to be able to straighten it with shift alt drag. This is not working for some reason. Is there an alternative method?
You might be holding down Shift and Alt together before you start the stroke and that is why it isn’t working.
Hold down ‘Shift’ key and start the stroke then, without lifting pen/mouse button, let go of Shift and hold down ‘Alt’ key to finish the stroke and straighten the tube.

Your welcome awest. ZBrush 4 does have the odd little twitch here and there, as do a lot of programs, but the upcoming free Z4R2 update on September 20th should, hopefully, iron out the major ones and also present us with some exciting new features.
