I just started to learn ZBrush, and I have run into problems with the mesh becoming corrupted and eventually crashing ZBrush. I have made adjustments to ZBrush using “ZBrush 2 Performance Tips – Getting the Most from Your System” and "***** ZBrush 2 Practical Guide ***** ", but nothing has stopped the error from occuring. Before you send me any advice here’s what I have already done.
- Exported the model back into Maya as an OBJ file, and attempted to cleanup and quadrangulate, then reimported it back.
- Used Smart ReSym on the all subdivision level
- Disabled and Enabled various settings under Performance, Mem in the Preferences tab, and even the Render tab.
The problem may have cleared up though. I tried to cause Zbrush to crash again while modeling a second ago, and so far it hasn’t crashed. It’s might in a little bit so please send your advice. Thanks in advance.
