I’ve been trying to bring jpeg images of different views of an object into my workspace for scale reference, and I can’t find any instructions or tutorial on the proper way to do that. I’ve used the search functions here, but the methods that came up were dated or didn’t apply to the mac 3.12b version.
It seems like there is more than one way to do it too, so I’m not sure where to look and what else to try.
Am I supposed to be using an Image Plane plug-in? I don’t seem to have one.
Well if you just want to have a picture on the background, you go to:
Document-Import. Choose the picture you want and it will load into your document.
Then you can just draw out your modell and work as usual.
