Hi, I’m very new to Zbrush and 3D applications, so I apologize for my probably silly questions and considerations.
I’m learning Zbrush but it seems to me that is an excellent software to build models for static renders only. If you develop a human, an animal or a somewhat complex model, full of details and properly skinned, you will end up with at least one million polygons, at best.
No way you can manage that mesh in Poser (for example), adding IK and actually animating it.
I could use a lower resolution mesh, but in that case all the skulped and skinned details are gone.
A solution to this could be perhaps exporting (from Zbrush) a displacement map of the model and use it as bump map with a lower resolution mesh ?
