Newb Q: Move loops without affecting overall geometry?

I’ve gotten to a stage where I’m pretty happy with the shape of my character’s mouth, but just noticed that I don’t have the necessary loops to make the upper lip (the “kissing” part of his lip, not where his mustache would be) smooth. It looks pretty “jaggy” still, but the rest of the area is fine. Is there a way I can push down a few more edge loops onto his lip to make it smoother, without otherwise affecting the overall shape in this area?

It’s a little hard to know without seeing your model but you could try exporting your lowest subD to Maya etc. add the loops you need then reimport and reproject, there is also a edgeloop function in zbrush where you isolate one ring of polys click edge loop and it will add them in. Good luck
