Promethias…No problem,…glad it was of some help to you…:)…Looking forward to see what you come up with next…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Glenn

Trying something new for me…Lighting a single layer 2.5 D scene inside of ZBRUSH…I usually take the scene into Corel Painter to do the lighting…But just discovered that the lights now work on a 2.5D single layer scene in this latest version of ZBRUSH…I never could get them to do anything on my single layer 2.5D scenes before…So now I have something new to explore and experiment with regarding lighting a single layer 2.5D scene…Great

Top one is unlit scene as it looked yesterday…Bottom one is a single ZBRUSH light addition…wierd what kind of effect a little lighting can have on a piece…:)

The above post is with one ZBRUSH light on a 2.5D scene…The below images are with 4 lights on the same 2.5D scene plus the use of the new LightCap feature on top of that…Amazing that the lights can now be used on a single layer 2.5D scene, IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS …and it’s so fast WOW…Amazing:D…Opens up a whole new frontier to explore, without even having to leave ZBRUSH…Great :D…Thank You Pixologic programers…whoever you are…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Hi Glenn, This is really getting interesting!

Sorry I have not been around much lately. Elisa lost her Dad to Cancer this past tuesday and had to fly to Argentina!

I am a bit crazy myself getting ready for my trip. I finally have all my inoculations and leave for Tanzania in 16 days. I will try and post here if time allows that.

Keep up the great work my friend!

All the best, David

That is looking just beautiful Glenn! I especially like the waterfall. Great use of lighting.

ThankYou David :)…Hey Man, Sorry to hear about the loss in your family…One day at a time, and time will heal all wounds…

Thank You VoodooDad…Glad that you enjoy that one…and those falls…Alot of fun to do and work on…relaxing:)

Going to revisit this piece that I started a few months ago using ZBRUSH…I want to try out some of the new ZBRUSH features on it …like FiberMesh, LightCap, and DynaMesh…Will be a good one to push further what I learned while doing the piece posted above.

GRIZZLY FALLS 29.jpg

Hi Glenn, I really like this last one!!! Dynamic and dramatic … I also love the almost monochromatic look of it!

Thanks for your kind words, Elisa is dealing with her Dads death quite well!

How cool is this, I just downloaded 123D application by Autodesk to my new Ipad … its a free 3d modeling app. The only drawback is not being able to export finished models, You can however save the renders! I will have some fun with this on my trip! If i should come up with anything cool I will post it!

Bianca is observing not modeling for this Moose model!

Cheers,
David

Thanks David Glad that you enjoy that one…It’s a saved version:)…Gave it a new number, and am now just using it as something to experiment with, and to explore some of these new ZBRUSH features on…It might turn out better, or might not…who the hell knows or cares…LOL…As long as i’m learning in this process, that’s all that and what will count in the long run, to me anyway…:D…It’s the journy of exploration that keeps the adventure an adventure, and alive…

Hey,…I like that new toy of yours…Would be nice to do little quick outdoor sketches of people and lanscapes ect. with it, if the glare on the screen is not too bad…
Bianca looks like…Hey get off of that damm machine, and lets go for a walk…times a wastin ya know, and i’m not gettin any younger layin here waiting on you …kind of look on Bianca’s face…
Times getting short before that trip to the other side of the planet of yours…don’t forget the bug repelent…Just couldn’t resist throwing that in …LOL
Thanks for the visit David…Always welcomed and appreciated…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

hi glenn, what a beautiful landscape for your bear to live in, so many nice details to detect on closer look :-)… i am particulary fond of the image in post #1899, the colorsceme is working so well for me

My favorite is # 1892 ( the top image) if we were picking one, even though they all have a magical feel about them…
and thanks for commenting on my stuff , your comments are allways helpful…

Thank You Kokoro…:)…Mostly trying to get the new addition on the left side to harmonize colorwise with the prexisting right side and background/middleground/forground of the painting, so it doesn’t look like a later add on…I’m finding it kind of tricky to achieve, but i’ll get it eventually…hopefully…

Hi Deke :)…Hey ,no problem my friend…I always enjoy visiting your thread, and seeing what you are up to in it…If my comments have been useful in some small way, well that’s great to hear…Makes all that typing wothwhile then …Typing, not my favorite thing to do…still using one finger.
Thanks for your visits in here also…Always welcomed useful, and very much appreciated…

Thats a lovely glowing light…I feel that the bears should have more reflection or glow in their eyes…just a personal insight, IMHO…Deke
