Hey David…Thanks a million for turning me onto that Groom Toss brush…Works like a charm…Just what the doctor ordered…Thanks Man…small_orange_diamond:)
I must learn to shut up!
That lion looks awesome.
Groom Magnet, (hehehe!!! its like it sounds; VERY VERY FUN!) Groom Twist, and Groom Spike are also awesome for what you are doing.
meanwhile my ability to be nice is slipping…
Im going to go sharpen my teeth now.
Hehe. MealeaYing I guess I have less restraint than you. I actually am a moderator on another site and we have no problem with people posting frequently, so it really bothers me when people suddenly decide they’re running things dot, dot, dot…
GRIN!!!
I have almost none…
And to rapidly and in a most obvious way change the subject; what site?
Hi Glenn, It is my pleasure. I learned something else interesting today … Noisemaker also works with fibermesh once you make it a sub tool. It looked cool until I tried a BPR render and then it got strange. I need to revisit that feature and explore some more! Cheers, David
I saw something like that too, where I used noise maker, got something all nice and bumpy and when I rendered it it was… sort of inside out? Something like that anyway…
It was still cool but just totally strange…

Thanks Guys for the Support…Very Much appreciated and Welcomed…small_orange_diamond:)
P.S. …Mealea…Don’t sharpen those claws too much…They hurt much more going in, when they are a little bit dull …LOL
Glenn
More practice with FiberMesh brushes this morning…Worked on the mane some for the other lion in this piece, and the tail ends on both lions.

Back to this boxing gym scene.

Was finally able to get a BPR Render without the lions FiberMesh mane and tails getting all weird, like in the post further back in here…After about a hundred tries at different ways of doing it,…Finally found a way that works…LOL:D

Damn Glenn … Looking freakin awesome, it has really come a long way. It was wonderful watching this evolve! Cheers, David:D
Hey Glenn, I like the way this one is going. The mane in particular turned out really well! Just a suggestion though, the texturing of the lions and the rock are a little wonky. For example, they both have parts where the texture fades/stretches/blurs which takes away from the model more than it adds to it (the lions wing in particular). Also, the rock is really lacking some depth without it’s detailing and sharp edges. Consider using the awesome noisemaker to give it some grit!
Just an opinion of what first jumped out to me. Regardless of what anyone says, I’m glad you’re experimenting, being creative and most of all just enjoying the damn program! That’s what it’s for. Not everybody needs to do another boring orc/hulk/goblin sculpt.
hi glen if you turn down the by area slider to zero you wont get the variation in size for the fibers in the main… that slider is relative to your polygon size… bigger the poly in the mesh bigger the fiber in the render…
looking good

David…Your input and suggestions along the way on that boxing gym scene made it that much more better than it would be without that valuble input and those suggestions of yours…Can’t thank you enough for that help…my friend…small_orange_diamond:)
I’m going to push it and the boxing concepts further though.:D.It’s a theme that I can relate to, and enjoy working on…plus it enables me to learn more about ZBRUSH in the process…which is what it’s really all about in this sketchbook for me…
Polaroid29…Thanks Man…I agree, and always enjoy good specific contructive suggestions that might help and relate to any work that i’m working on…:)
EarthTriber…Great tip about that hair thickness variation slider that you mentioned…Ill give it a go as you suggested to …for sure…Thanks Man…small_orange_diamond:)
Thanks Again Guys…Your help and support is very much appreciated and welcomed…Thank You…
Just having some fun this morning.

Wow, Glenn! Really love the flying, fighting lions! Kind of a cross between Frazetta and Boris Vallejo (without the romance novel feel of the Vallejo :D) Keep up the great work!
