Expected, SD is a human, an individual person, not easy to be cool always.
Especially on a forum that many have the habit to rate artworks badly without posting their opinion. Even on top row works.
It’s among SD’s rights to post as he likes.
Let’s try to avoid to be the police of art, it isn’t polite or clever, neither creative. It’s dangerous!
I think those people who are rating works even the toprow ones without commenting are the same people who give their comment in this thread without having read the beginning post, which has been mine.
I never critizized him based on his ammount of stars.

@michalis You count to that sort of persons i summarized above. If you have read the recent conversation, then you would also have noticed the rude way he was responding to me as individual human who tried to give him some hints how to get a better rating.
The way he responded to other is very inappropiate and the way he acts implicates that he is a low personality as well. He isn’t a victim or anything, if you read carefully u would notice that he is even enjoying this.
@Santis This is NOT a hate wave. Just hating without any reasons is something else then beeing annyoed by SD’s spaming and pushing. Right now i feel in the defensive position.
We who are annoyed are not bullying him. No we just want him to post less pictures and try with finals only. He is a submitting machine, as webhead said earlier; he is an assembly line.
SD do also spamm his collages not only in this forum.
Im really begging a moderator or admin, to give SD a submitting-limit. Like only 3 pictures the week.
I dont even know why he is still submitting his stuff though the most ppl just rate it bad and go on without noticing him at all. He isn’t willing to improve so he will be in a stasis of artistic confusion anyways.

I count to that short of persons… No sir, you’re counting me. English isn’t my language but your english don’t respect logic or persons. IMO, extremely offensive behavior. I count… LOL just like that… LOL again.

aside from telling spirit to lay off the troll comments and telling everyone no personal attacks… he did make it clear that if you have a problem with someone not being responsive dont get bent about it and find someone else who is more responsive.
the mods here have had plenty of chances to tell spirit he’s in the wrong… if they believed he was. plenty of people get warnings daily about reposting large amounts and filling up the preview rows and such… if what spirit does was really a problem aurick would’ve stepped in by now. and the fact that dozens of people here post inconsequential updates to their sketchbooks all the time… why should one person be treated differently and punished because someone else has a problem with it.
go find the forum rules and read them over and come back and tell us where it says posting more then 3 things a week is wrong or that every post needs to be a final product.
forums don’t operate on max’s rules. and there are mods that are very active on here enforcing the rules that do exist. if you have such a serious issue with it then how about writing the mods directly… plead your case there… and when they dont respond and dont tell spirit to stop… and basically say to drop it again… maybe then it will sink in that he’s got a right to post what he wants so long as he’s not filling up multiple preview spots before one picture falls off.
this isnt the place for you to air your personal grievances over and over and over again especially after it’s already been said by Aurick that this has gone too far and needs to stop.
Both sides of this need to stop. It’s a silly argument being made all the more silly by the repeat attempts to hammer each others side down the others throats… Everyone’s gotta get over themselves.
oh and max… if you feel on the defensive you put yourself there. You’re the one telling someone else they arent an artist and that you as a science guy are a better artist… when you’ve posted one ONE project in the 3 months you’ve been here, with nothing else to compare against to see what kind of “artist” you really are. Whether you think you are or not you are attacking…not defending. Now it’s your choice whether or not to post anything more then that one… And I wont sit here and tell you you’re not an artist because you have no art to prove it. But if you’re gonna make broad claims like you’ve been make sure you back those up. You want spirit to take you seriously when you have any criticsm, then give a reason for him to instead of repeating the same argument that obviously has held no water to him. this is a forum of professionals here and acting like one gets you much further then not.

@SD the collage is very poorly done. you should think about doing a whole body in zbrush and not just a head and painting the rest, that looks odd.
the bird seems to be in some strange perspective. when holding a bird on the tail they dont rotate 90 degree.
the polypaint texture needs a lot of improvement.

Hey nice to hear from you…Yep…I saw the preview of what’s coming up VERY SHORTLY in the next version of ZBRUSH…Pretty remarkable stuff …ZBRUSH just keeps getting better and better, and is also becoming much more enjoyable to use for simple minded folks like myself…less tech oriented, and more artist oriented so to speak…Have to give those programers and the people who back them up alot of credit…they sure know their stuff…It’s magic at it’s finest to me…Best program that I ever laid my hands on, and for sure well worth the investment…about a hundred times more so, would be an understatment…

Hey,…In case anybody is interested,…Above is a link to a small tut I made awhile back for making crystals in ZBRUSH…I was using ZBRUSH 2 at the time, so the screen setup is a little different, but you should be able to figure it out using ZBRUSH 4…without too much of a problem I think…Just thought I would share it in here, …Might be useful to someone along their journy…don’t know, but it may be,…who knows…Enjoy:)

Hey Spirit - LOVE the ‘Earth Rises’ one. Very fluid and full of color. It took me a minute to realize the big blue liquidy thing in the background actually had human form, which makes it even cooler. I always enjoy works that have elements which seem to be hidden but aren’t.
Is there a difference between the two? Just wondering why one is cropped.
It would be nice to see more variety in the zb models you use in your paintings but it’s obvious you have talent. Keep it up.

Glad you enjoy a mystery and like some surprize in an image…Me Too… Some people like and have to have everything spelled out loud and clear in the images that they enjoy, which is fine too, but I always like and enjoy the mystery and surprize that lies within an image myself…Just a personal matter of taste, as is the case with all images and how each viewer views, looks at, and see’s them.
About the crop…It’s the same image,…just a closer look at the area that I like the most.
You are right about having more variety in the figures…I hope to take care of that problem soon, with the arrivial of that new Clay Time feature coming out in the new version of ZBRUSH in a few days…It should make it alot easier for everything as far as sculpting goes…I’m hitting 60 years old shortly, so anything that makes it easier by being less complicated is Fantasic…I don’t have the patience for over complicated technical stuff anymore,…just have the energy left to create what I enjoy,see in my minds eye, and doing it in a way that I enjoy…
I was looking up the word Mammon today, just for the hell of it, and stumbled upon this image posted below…The chinese God / Mammon of Wealth riding a tiger…Got me to thinking, and playing with my own version…Just the initial thought here so far…but it is captured in visual form anyway…Who knows where it will lead to…but i’ll have fun, and will enjoy finding out…and that is what sketchbooks are for…at least mine anyway…
