This last one here is a marked improvement. It has a cohesiveness that feels like a complete thought.

Stars are much more beautiful in the heavens, which is where they belong, and should always stay…rather than being down here on Earth where it’s just a starry starry game we play.
One persons garbage may be another persons treasure, and visa versa…relatively speaking…
Lose the ego, lose the stars…Art is about Spirit, and the force of nature that brings it into play…
The people who painted the bison and other animals on those cave walls many years ago…didn’t need stars to know if they were doing it right or wrong…they just knew that they needed to do what they were doing…and they went about doing it… Art as something Sacred embodying Spirit has been lost along the way…It’s been replaced by a Souless false star that shines during the day, while leading the world astray… …
Starry Starry Night…
There is a good image somewhere in these words and thoughts…Just wanted to post these thoughts here to remind myself of that fact…Thoughts have a way of vanishing like a puff of smoke, along with the image that could have been created from them …This is just a placeholder for an image kind of post in my sketchbook…:D<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

You produce way too much dude.
Your first pictures were interesting, but then you did tons of them, and all look the same to me.
I also didn’t notice that you improved from your first picture to now. you throw more pictures into that forum than people can react to.
I also don’t think that that style of art will be successful though. It looks too unnaturally. As if someone puts in photoshop 2 pictures together and play with mere tranparency.
The balance between ammount of pictures and comments you get is selfexplaining.
A tip i can give you, try to put more effort into one picture than uploading every progress stage and tons of simmilar pictures.
The danger by uploading many pictures on the same style is that people might become bored or even annoyed.
Zbruch is a wonderful tool and i bet that you can do much more of it.
Art shouldnt be massproduction. Furthermore is quality and effort equivalent, means, the more effort u put in something they higher quality will be.
And i don’t see quality, i do see only quantity. that can throw a bad image on you.
looking forward to see some improvement!
(another danger by uploading many pictures per site is that users scroll down and down and down to get to antother page, and the scrolling bar becomes smaller… you’ll never reach the bottom! You should avoid that in that type of forums.)
The coal miner is blowing my mind, that was so unexpected and so oddly accurate.
What a horrifying job and you got him perfect.
(I love the use of destroyed mesh for hair!)

Sorry you feel that way…But to be honest about it,…I totally disagree with everything that you say, except for what you said about ZBRUSH being a great program…Some people like the way I do things, and my work. I’ve even been told alot of times by people who like it, that they have learned alot by seeing all of my steps and the way that I go about putting things together…the creative process,… and others hate it.
There sure are alot of numbers adding up on both sides of the equation,.for better or for worse…So what that says to me, is that alot of people like terrible work, …or alot of people like good work,…and as far as stars go,…that’s a rigged game,…it only takes a few people giving someone one star to make that person have two stars forever,…even if there were many more people giving that same person five stars.
As far as goals and aspirations go,…we all have different ones, and that’s the way it should be.
I’m learning a little something new, with each piece that I do, and have been doing that for fifty some odd years now, and will hopefully do that unil the day I die…That’s my goal, and my aspiration, and also my pleasure…It’s not any more complicated than that.
Thank you for the feedback, it’s much appreciated…even though I disagree with it, as it relates to me and my experiences with art, and artist.
Mealea…Thank You… Yep,…it’s a tragic in alot of ways kind of job for sure…maybe someday, it will be a thing of the past…but only the future will be able to tell if that comes to pass or not…hopefully it will…
