On a more serious note,…here is a piece that has been in lurking in the back far reaches of my imagination for quite some time now.
I was a launcher technician on a Polaris Nuclear submarine…the SSBN Thomas Jefferson 618 blue crew…1971-1973…many many moons ago, actually it…still seems like yesterday to me at times…Anyway, I had my finger on the button to fire those 16 nuclear armed 2 warheads each Polaris missiles…too many times that I would even care to think about.
This is my self portrait expressing my thought about that particular event in my young life.
The painting is one that I created awhile back,…it’s from a drawing that I did even further back in time.
I want to create and take it further using Z Brush, this AMAZING new technoligy that I hope will allow me to fully visulize this memmory of mine that haunts me to this very day, and probably to the day that I leave this crazy world that we all inhabit.
WIP. Painting…I’m going to take this piece further, because I think it has further relevence today than it had yesterday…and will probably be even more relevent tomorrow, and until the world gets it’s act together.

It is absolutely amazing that you continue to present work that would be unsatisfactory in any art school of the nation even in first year.
Not only are the works just not progressing to any standard that I have grown accustomed to in over 30 years of art education you even manage to make inane statements about - well what exactly is still in question.
Are you for or against or just undecided about nuclear energy and weapons etc?
Do you have any statement that could possibly clarify what your opinion is?
Art should be but must not absolutely have to be COMMUNICATIVE. What is your message?
Why are you collaging photos? What does the wolfman have to do with it.
I mean - it is obvious that you are a guy with some age attached according to your own statements. If this is the level of your intellect then you are seriously in need of getting some further education.
May I suggest that you try to enter into an art school somewhere to see what other professional educators will say so that my statements are not the only reference.
I mean you no ill will but seriously man - this is just so lame!

Lian…Thank You… Can almost taste the smoke from the oil burning in that one…It’s my favorite of the bunch also.
My wife tells me that the same problem is NOW happening over in your neck of the woods also…Poisoning the Atlantic and the Pacific oceans can never be excused, or justified…I pity the future if it is…allowed to continue.

hehehe! I see what you are doing and its great fun, make asymmetrical sculpt in Sculptris, bring it into Zbrush, render it with all that neat texture from Sculptris wireframe, convert it into an alpha and use various brushes, and a lot of the smudge brush in 2.5D (I have no idea about the moon like circle yet but I’m thinking), and all that while silencing a troll in one shot.
The nuke stuff is fantastically grim, especially the ones with the sub leaving the scene of the crime. Those are horribly solid.
I find it terrifying that people think the cold war is over and fail to realize that it simply got colder, and thus more quiet (With the obvious exception of Ill and his ilk)

Mealea…Thank you, Always a pleasure to have you visit and express your views …Thanks for that link also…Just what the world needs at this point in time,…more insanity and too much money in the hands of insane politicians, scientist and engineers…There is enough overkill potential in actuallity to do in the planet about a hundred times over out there already…Just a waste of money creating more ways to kill…but nothing new there…just job security for the idiots of the world in a world overwhelmed by idiocy… Just pure luck that we’ve managed to make it this far…but as is always the case,…luck runs out, …sooner or later,…or better put…play with fire enough times and sooner or later you are bound to get burnt…:eek:
