I did this digital painting of an antelope freehand using the oil brushs in the Painter #10 program…Reference was a Z Brush 3D sculpture of the antelope done by Quarart over at CG Talk…He does great animals.
Though I would now put this painting I did of the antelope to use in my own way… Just having fun with it…

Doing something that I really enjoy because of it’s challenge…It is alot harder than 3D sculpture, which is why the best art academies require it as an entrance example of your work…at least they used to…Relief Sculpture …In this case digital marble…Free hand relief figure from imagination…Also trying out some of the new and amazing sculpting brushs/tools in the new version of Z Brush…

I like the monster head, looks like a vampire, i can suggest you to add some details on the ears, trying to find good volumes on the back. I think you may try the retopology before you sculpt small details.

Dude… i gotta ask. What’s up with the backgrounds? All your stuff is on these weird backgrounds that are basically just different colors with random overlayed images and random models that you have previously made thrown in. They don’t have a uniform style and most of the models are small and crammed in around one another. It makes it really hard to look at what it is your working on because there is so much else happening.

I have never tried the retopology thing, so now is as good as time as any to give it a try… a try I guess.:eek: .
