Experiment…LightCap
Glenn
Good morning, Glenn! I love this piece as a bronze and the light placement is really nice here.
Interesting experiments Glenn !
About the last one, it’s time to dig the noise editor. Easy and superior to other solutions like adding noise on shaders.
There’s a curve editor under noise panel, this is the trick. Play with it.

Thank You Gary.:)…Glad you enjoyed that one…:)…My works keep getting taken off of the bottom row thumbnails…every time I put one up there,…even after I obey all of the posting rules… So I guess that someone in a position of power thinks they are not good enough to be there, or someone just enjoyes f…ing with me…Anyway…I’im not posting up there again…enough is enough…i’ve been around too long to put up with that kind of petty, cliquish and very unprofessional nonsense…feels like i’m in kinder garden or something…Ill just be posting my work in here from now on…for anyone interested enough to want to see it…That is if they don’t exile me from here too that is…:D…Life is too short to worry about it one way or the other…
Thanks Michalis.:)…I tried that noise thing out this morning…works great…Thanks for the suggestions along the way…They are always great and very useful to me…Really appreciate it Michalis…small_orange_diamond:)

Glenn your boxer is looking incredible! The lighting, pose and angle are top-notch. I think if you give hime a foot stool to sit on it would improve the piece even more. I love it!

Hey Gary…Thanks Man…:)…I 'll have to think about a stool,…will probably do it,…I like the idea of it.small_orange_diamond:)…But for now, it’s going to be a box…
I have a bunch of other boxing pieces that I need to finish up…gotta jump on them, while i’m in the mood to paint…Like a wave…gotta catch it when it arrives, or I will be sitting out there treading water, waiting on the next wave, which probably won’t be as good as the one that I just let get by while dilly daddling around with details…Gotta Get It While It’s There…
Calling it done for now…Got rid of those dam digital marks in the background, that look like hell when it is inlarged to poster size and gets printed…Just some broad brush strokes to livin it up some, and make it look more like a painting.
Glenn
Yeah, I completely understand the wave thing. I’m like that after I finish a major project in Zbrush, Right now, after finishing Bag End, I feel like I’m just drifting along, waiting for a “wave” of inspiration to lift me up and carry me forward. Your work never fails to get that wave to come a little faster. I don’t think I’ve ever told you this, but your work is a constant inspiration to me, and something in every piece inspires me to move forward. Your suggestions in my thread never fail to push me just a little further, and I’m always grateful when you make a comment on my work.
In short (way too late for that, I know ;)) you are the Master Jedi and I am your humble Padawan. Keep up the insiring work Glenn!

Hey Thanks Gary…:)…Everyone has something to offer in the way of learning, and teaching, and when that is forgotten, one becomes stagnant and isolated…I’ve learned alot and been inspired by studying your works also,…and am glad to have inspired you , even if in some small way…Like I said, we all have something of value to offer each other,… in this forum especially…with all politics and ego’s aside that is…Those last two elements just mentioned,… have ruined, and are ruining many a forum.
Digital puritans just get in the way of creative thought and expression…Some things never change…
