So firstly I like what you are developing and some of the stills are very aesthetically pleasing.
Having said that, as an art educator I would make the following comment.
It seems as though you are slightly stuck and that the initial enthusiasm has become a little tired and lacking innovation.
What we usually say to students at this stage is that they need to “PUSH THE ENVELOPE more”
If I were your teacher I would suggest that you apply the method to a theme of some type of your choosing and see what develops from there.
Also the clean plastic shiny effect )which really is very easy to achieve in the 3D animation rendering packages requires a new dimension as well) can be counterpointed by elaborate and ornate forms and by textures.
I hope this is received in the light it was intended. Constructive critisism.

The last two were 2.5D, most of my other new work was rendered in Keyshot, Its awesome!

Glad that you like that one! Even when I shoot my color photographs I seem to prefer a unique palate … often it is almost monochromatic. Thats what makes everyones “music” so different! Thanks as always for your support!
