I very much like this way of approaching Zbrush. You can get some pretty beautiful effects by experimenting with those abstract forms, and I bet you learn a ton!
Another exploratory piece!
I like post 819… An eye catcher…The siver colors work nice…and the dice shaped cube being impaled is great …nice contrast of shapes and sense of motion with and in design…small_orange_diamond:)
Always a pleasure seeing your imagination at work and in play David…
Glenn

I mostly agree with kokoro.
I love it.
Though I have no idea on how you do these.
Thanks Z, Glad I hit all your favorite colors! Thanks for the visit and the kind words!
All the best, David
Hi Kokoro, A pleasure as always to have you stop by! Thanks so much for the kind words, it means a lot to me!
Cheers, David
Hi Michalis, I am so glad that you like this work.
I work in my own strange way I guess, in this case I imported some obj’s from Topmod and I get different looks by alternating with drag Rect and drag dot giving me the elongated versions of the same shape. I add the “bubbles” with the sphere 2.5D brush. Mostly I just use the preview render and then export to PS … I use Silver Effects Pro to give the whole image a Antique Sepia look and then a history or erase brush to reveal the original colors just in certain areas and using different opacities, often to tone down the original color.
All the best, David
Ah, topmod, I have some time to play with it.
Another lovely app is Groboto, have you tried it? It’s a cheap app. But not freeware. A very clever one.
Producing clean loops and UVs. Booleans!
Hi Michalis,
Yes Groboto has evolved into a very sophisticated application, I like it a lot but the interface is a bit odd!
Cheers, David
Another 2.5D exploration!
More exploration 2.5D
More exploratory work!
