New Work.

The works look quite the same to me.
I think you should try to use some more techniques or at least finding sth which makes them unique.
As Zbrush simplifies a lot now. you would need tons of hours with other programs, producing somethin simmilar to what you do.

But this can go in teh wrong direction taht you do some kind of mass production. This rubs the uniqueness completely. I can’t see any expression inside the pictures.
It’s nice to look at. This is true. I would put some of them on my wall for sure, but it’s more like decoration, Im sure you could do more.

Try another Renderengine, better materials, less basic forms.

You have some really unusual and highly interesting pieces!! I really like 'em!

Hi Robb, Thanks for the kind words … glad that you enjoyed the work! Cheers, David

A new image, a bit of this and a bit of that! Cheers, David

Quite like this last one - like where your going with these.

D.

Well…
I have been watching your thread for the whole time you have been making it and I never stop being amazed.
If you look at each page in one sitting the progression of ideas and learning is out of control and that is a very cool thing.
David you make great stuff.

Cheers!!!
Mealea

Hi Deckard,

Thanks so much I am glad you like this last post, not sure where I am going but i’m going! Keep up your great work, I love your whole thread! Cheers, David

Hi Mealea, Thank you so very much… you were my inspiration to not worry about putting up my work and have fun doing it! You created a monster! I am trying to get in a few more pieces as I leave for Tanzania in exactly a week! All the best, David

Another new piece … i seem to be moving in new direction? cheers, David

hi david, yes you are  this is a wonderful direction, i love that despite it is abstract, the composition of shapes is so suggestive… i see a bird lying eggs into his nest  … the clean geometrical shapes are very appealing, and the lighter color scheme is pleasing to me too

Feeling inspired today! Another new work. Cheers, David

Hi Glenn, thanks buddy! I am off on Tuesday morning … the months have dragged on and on and now everything is moving at warp speed! I made myself a present of the new Eat 3D tutorial video which is supposed to be awesome. It will have to wait until i return but perhaps it will allow me to learn a bit about modeling humans LOL!

I am going to give it a shot! All the best, David

Another new one. I hope this new road I am traveling is pleasing to the eye! Al the best, David

On a roll today … this one more before calling it a night! Cheers, David

i like it  i like the curves and flow, and that the primary colors are more saturated, but still subdued. very nice indeed.
