Hi David :slight_smile:

Hey, I luv these last few…The one with the looking up at the phone wires on the previous page in here is Great…:smiley: and the second one down on this page is Fantastic…I like the way you did the offwhite bottom combined with the darker top section…nice gradation there…lets a nice soft shadow fall beneath the subjects of interest…Reminds me of what you might see when you turn on a spotlight and cast it upon the ocean floor,…way way down in the depths of the ocean…and what you see is as amazed and surprized to see you, as you are to see it…:D…Really like that one…I think I have a NEW favorite…:)…But i’m sure that will only be a tempory condition…:smiley:
Keep on Truckin David…Always a real pleasure seeing what you’ve come up with, and wondering what will be next…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)
Glenn

Hi Glenn, Thank you so much, I am glad you are enjoying these last few. Your new favorite is just one tool (a mesh imported from TopMod) that is applied to the canvas using different strokes and then quite a bit of post in PS. I am almost always using just the preview render in zbrush!

All the best, David :smiley:

Here is something different and yet the same process … it’s a long road to explore! Cheers, David :smiley:

so much fun to come back again, and see what you are up to… wow, you are really productive… like the one “before hitting thr hay” and the “productive” one very much. but the last is my favourite now. really like the blend of geometric and “look into universe” feel of that. and that it feels 3d, and the nice texturing, and ,. yes, this is really great :slight_smile: …am looking forward how you develop further.

@kokoro:

Thank you so much! … it’s always a pleasure to get your feedback, I am glad you are enjoying the work! All the best, David :smiley:

Another new piece … a bit of a different look! Cheers, David :smiley:

Here is one more sketch along my exploration path to … cheers, David :smiley:

Ok … I am trying to take this work to the next level … let me know what you think! Cheers, David :smiley:

Pretty freakin’ amazing. I can’t help but think I’m looking at a physical “sculpture” of some sort. Wonderful.

@kevphil:

Thanks so much for the kind words … glad that you liked this last one! Cheers, David :smiley:

:+1: your work gives - makes me take time too figure what tools - brushes in your work flow ! also abstract being what it is the ones that follow the basic rule of - cross

  • triangle - loop - fill of the work spaces works if that makes sense ? like the last few . the last has a female pose - snake shedding skin feel :+1:

Very Graceful, Like a Ballet Dancer…

Hi Gary, Thanks for your comments … I am glad that the work makes you explore and that there is some mystery to it! In most of the images on that last page there was usually one just tool and the variation comes with the stroke, brush size, material and color, with an occasional sphere or three thrown in the mix. :laughing:

All the best, David :smiley:

Thanks Deke … I think you hit the nail on the head … makes sense along with what Gary said. A dancer shedding her skin! :lol:

Cheers, David :smiley:

Here is another exploratory piece. Hope you enjoy it! Cheers, David :smiley:

More 2.5D exploration!

Loved this one…
