New Wips and Zbrush Shader&Light Test[shader download on page 1] (potential nudity)

Etcher - knew you’d like it  you’re very welcome.

Morgaine - my apologies for messing up your schedule

Tincow - Glad you like it!

should go without notice, but - whoever downloads and uses the shader is welcome free to do whatever with it, but it would be nice to mention where you got it from if you post anything with this shader.

cheers everybody!

Amazing work! Really great style on your sculptings! Thank for the shaders! They´re awesome!:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

That’s great, that toon shader should ship with the product, it’s that good.

:+1:

Amazing julian could have used this a few days ago! Definitly gunna test it out for my next character! With mucho props of course! Great Job! Its people like you that take help zbrush reach the next level!

Simply AWESOME shader, Julian.

Downloading and testing

thanks for sharing these materials with the community. What rendering method do you recommend? best render or BPR, best render produces a thick inky effect with black shapes in cavities.

cool, thanks for sharing!!!

ah cool,’‘hyper toon hard’’ looks really good on the sabrewulf characters im doing, thanks for sharing :+1:

Thanks for the comments guys. Really glad you like it.
I truly believe stuff like this should be shared to save one another more time for creation rather than endlessly fiddling around with tech.

moonlitmaverick - I made it for BPR. For best render you’d have to adjust and tone down the cavity settings in shader slot 1 and 2 ( which are ineffective for BPR). You can get a similar effect with BR but it is generally harsher and not as smooth as with BPR and you don’t see it before you render.
It’s really a matter of taste and what look you want to achieve.

BTW - Masterklown did a great B&W pencil style matcap shader which you can check out here

Again, so awesome of you to share - cannot wait to try them out ! It has been said before, but; 5 star body of work and 5 star community help on ZBC :sunglasses: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: .

Thanks again Etcher, you’re really quite the 5 star personality. at least from what I get about you around here, which is all I can judge by

anybody know why that last thumbnail of mine is still and again up there?

Because I didn’t do anything and certainly wouldn’t do that. Everybody wants attention and so do I, but I wouldn’t ‘cheat’ to get it.

edit. uhm… obviously that even happens when you just edit the text in a post with a thumbnail. at least that’s what I suspect, because i did correct a mistake in that post, just before.
if that is so , then please take my apologies for the unintentional sub row occupation.

Beautiful sculpture julian!
These are great drawings actually.
The shader is fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

Julian, you found my weakness; when someone posts great work, I have to let them know…  . The thumbnail thing: hover your mouse over the thumb and see what name it has; chances are it changed from something like “toonshader” to “ZBC1” , if it has, it’s because a moderator changed because it deserves to be seen for a second time on the BR… . 218 downloads and counting…

you are right - it has changed to ZBC1

that’s ok then

:+1: ,cool!I like !

this looks amazing. the shader looks great. Does the surface of the model affect how the shader looks. I would love to see a basic material render of your last model.
