New Sketch book and Beta

Bravo! It is a good idea! Very expressive! In my work, I have interpreted the emotion in another content…

trying to get a sketch idea out of my head. I failed to finish a piece a few years ago, that could in theory be turned into something like this. I know that cryptic but thats all I really can say. oh well, the two dude are cylinders, I liked the way it felt, I was able to get a more spinal form for the bust. its all so rough, those clothes are pretty harsh, but with a few more guys you might get an idea of what I want to do with this. both guys are place holders. I just wanted to get a feel for what I was thinking.

This is very cool!!! Excellent technique and a great idea!!!

With great respect

Great expressions, lovely work as always Matthew

some sketches done at work both from a sphere:

the dinkster

A Lannister! :+1:

Right on, glad you recognized him, he was a rough sketch, hard to get his face right, very asymmetrical.

Gave my new alien a full body, played with anatomy a bit, familiar yet different

Just loving absolutely everything I see in this thread! pure awesome! Expressions, you nailed it! likenesses, also nailed! incredibly fantastic speed sculpts? You guessed it NAILED! keep it up and keep em coming

did a full day crunch on this guy, took an unfinished beta model, and turned him realtime, I wanted to keep him super low, around 8k, just so I could see what I could do with a game res model (not a cinematic one) Not done yet by any means, but I did want to throw it up here for a bit. one 2k diff, spec, and norm.

This little green dude looks great!

game model: took the day to tweak all the textures, rework the model (now in tpose ready for rigging) thinking I’m kinda happy with this one. real time render, 8k polys.

all in all about 2.5 hours, just a rough sketch to try and put me to sleep. the figure was about an hour and half. A lot of time was spent trying to figure out what kind of warrior he was haha.

Hi FramedWorld

Hey…Great job done on this latest warrior…Lots of energy and emotion expressed…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Really liking that drill sergeant posted on the previous page in here also …for the same reasons as the latest warrior piece…brings back alot of memories I have from boot camp…all of them bad…what a nightmare that was…LOL

:)Glenn

Very alive

really enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing:+1:

me too, i loved the video. i enjoy seeing you sculpting quite differently, and very effectively! did you sculpt him from imagination, or did you use reference fotos? when you sculpted the face, i saw you exploring, like searching, but on the body you was quite determined…fun to watch

great sculpting!

I usually am not really into watching sculpting vids but that was actually amazing

Are you just using clay tubes for sculpting? Really great muscle knowledge

walking away impressed

thanks for sharing the video, great sculpt!
