New motherboard, what should I do ?

Hello, I guess I probably start to be a pain and I’m sorry for that :frowning:
During the installation of a new cpu cooler it seems that my motherboard died (at least I hope it’s only the motherboard).
Of course, I had no clue such a thing would happen so zbrush is still installed and activated on the computer. I should get a new motherboard by tomorrow.
I hope I will be able to boot into windows but I’m not sure (windows copy protection system).
If I have to reinstall, is there still a way to deactivate my copy (I keep the same hard drive).
Thank you in advance for your help.

Jean-Luc

Once the motherboard has been replaced, ZBrush will see this as a new computer and require a new activation. If you do Web Activation and get a message that ZBrush has been activated too many times you’ll be given a list of the activations that are currently counting against your serial number. Next to the one that’s been lost there’s a check box to deactivate. Check that, submit the form and then confirm it. This will create a support ticket so that your serial number can be adjusted by our staff.

Thank you very much for your answer Aurick, I was worried to loose both, my computer and my license the same day :frowning:
