New head exercise

Hi,everyone:) , this is my first post here.
It’s my new head exercise. The model was created in zbrush ,lighting and rendering in maya with vray. Hope you like it.:wink:

That’s a really nice portrait. It’s a convincing head; nice lines, good bones, muscles and skin detail, very good job!
Perhaps next time, for the presentation of your sculpted portrait, you can add a bit more of the bust and let it rest on the base instead of let it float above it.

(I am passing this on from someone else) My initial reaction is that you are simulating creating a bust in clay as opposed to creating a lifelike image. The sharp line contrast between the face and the hair was my clue. The shaping tool marks in the hair region was my second clue. The inner ear shape was well-done. Because I assume I am correct on the style that you are creating, I think the outer edge of the ears is compatible. If you were attempting a photographic type likeness, I think the edge of the ears are a little too squiggly, and the bottom lobe would have to be smoothly rounded. But if I am correct about the artistic effect that you are creating I think that this adds some interest.
