New document default size, NOT document size on startup - Answered

Even though my Zbrush starts with my custom document size (1024x1024), when I create a new document while already in Zbrush the new document is at a different resolution (1120x840), and I have to manually resize it again.

I thought Preferences>Init Zbrush (instead of New Document) might get me past the problem, but it doesn’t seem to be the case.

How do I change the resolution associated with the “New Document” button? It’s driving me nuts. :slight_smile:

Simply record a macro of you creating a new document of the desired size.

Once you’ve recorded the macro you can give it a hotkey or you can even put its button in a custom location within your interface to make it easy to get to.

For that matter you could create multiple macros for different-sized documents.
