Why in gods name isn’t this top row???:eek: Five stars from me just doesn’t seem to be enough, shame theres not 6 . Usually when I see a black and white image of a model I assume someones trying to cover up some dodgy color work etc… but I have to say that either colour of B&W version is astounding! I can’t wait to see how you lit and textured this etc… Photo realism at its very best.

This is a really stand out head man! The shading and texturing have really progressed well. The form in his nasolabial folds is really well realized and the fact you broke symmetry there (and in other places as well) helps push the realisim so much. Really inspiring work.
If I may be so bold to make an observation I think it would help sell the eyes a lot more if you played with the form of the pouches underneath. The weight there seems very uniform and unnatural. Im also thinking the ears could use some attention as usually you can see the anti helix from the front view and here it looks empty.
These only stick out at me because the rest of the sculpt seems so nice.
Again, very great stuff. And dont worry about toprow ; ) I am sure it will hit sooner or later.

Scott Spencer - thanks for your observation, I have been looking into modeling ears recently as there not my best area of modeling, I think i’ve got it sorted, i’ll probably re-model them on this face.
