Very nice atmosphere. Feel like I’m standing in some fine gallery. Although, I think that floor scratches are too strong.
great stuff - I love the anatomy study
The skeleton and horse group is a fabulous concept. It could stand proud in any collection of modern art.small_orange_diamond

Hi! Great worx on your thread, I’m subscribing (should’ve done this months ago…). Although you consider the latest piece far from finished, it does have a great visual impact, looking forward to an update. !
My sketchbook: Etcher_Sketcher
Really enjoy seeing your work, the style is great and the techniques are awesome!
TezZy, Etcher, maxinkuk, Intervain, ZETS: thanks fellas. its always a joy to read the compliments you guys leave for me!!
i was watching a tutorial by ceaser dacol jr today and while the tutorial vid was playing i decided i would do a quick sketch and follow along some of the workflow that ceaser was doin. i had a fun time with this sculpt. I worked on this sculpt for about 40 mins. ( as you can see the model is missing some serious details!!) but this was just a quick practice anyway.
tommorow if i have some time ill try and make a little vid with me sculptin if anyones interested.
p.s. Ill do another texture pass on this model tommorow so i can do this model some justice! its lookin a tad dull at the moment in my opinion.
hey dude!
yet again… awesome work.
his nose (or lack of) and eyes look great.
i would love to see a video of you working.

40 minutes? Great. Can you please point me to that tutorial you were talking about? Thanks.
Hey Nerveink!
Im watching this thread since day one and the other skechbook befor!
I love your unique work! Its really cool to see your skills developing and i take you as a kind of example!
40 min is damn fast! I learned nearly everthing about zbrush from Cesar in one of his cgtalk workshops, and adapted his sculpting workflow. Would be cool to
see you in action sculping this head!
Greetings, and keep it up, Gordon!
Wow, the latest Bat Monster is looking so freaking cool
SolidSnakexxx: thanks dude!
gordon-v: thanks man. yeah cesar is a really talented guy. i learned a lot from a couple of his gnomon vids. thank for the compliment though man glad you like my works.
ZETS: yeah man you can find the tutorial at: http://gnomonology.com/tutorial/258
abyss103: thank you thank you!! hopefully i can find some time to make a vid and upload it to the site.
alrighty! so after some sucess in creating a decent sculpt in a short time yesterday, i decided to challenge myself by creating a monster with some zspheres. so i made this balrog sculpt. it was a little bit tuff to work the zspheres but after a few minutes a got a decent mesh to work with. i know it still looks a bit crude right now but my objective was to essentially* get some of the same details and geometry of the actual balrog. needless to say I had an absolute blast working on this quick sculpt. i hope you guys enjoy and a lil c and c would be pretty nice. thanks!

Hi nerveink, great work on the quick sculpts man! 40 minutes, pffff… that’s fast, and good, I’m jealous . Can’t give you crits, only encouragements to keep goin’
!
hello everyone. just wanted to show you guys some snippets of some projects im currently working on,
the first is a wip shot of kanedas bike from akira. the bike itself is quite far from being finished but the basic mesh is there. the render was a test to check out some lighting and shader settings. the background is just a generic background for the test. the final render will include kaneda and the bike. Kaneda will be in a fully lit, textured scene. zbrush will of course play a major role in modeling organics and for textureing.
I have several more proojects that im working on and will post some wip shots in the near future.
looking foward to hear you guys thoughts on my work
i would reply to the previous comments but I accidently pressed refresh page after i had responded to all the comments. plus its 4:00 am and i need some shut eye
