Need some of your opinions(advice)

im a total newbie in the world of 3d modeling and i was wondering if i should learn maya or 3dmax or maybe cinema 4d before i start sculpting on zbrush?

many of you say that your basic mesh made by maya or cinema 4d

and i want to know to how to make base mesh like that, but zbrush looks so much more frindly to a new user.

what should i do?

Your skills in ZBrush will be valuable regardless of which other program (if any) you use alongside it.

Beyond that, it all comes down to personal preference. Some people like to work entirely in ZBrush. Animators, of course, can’t do that. But there, their software of choice often depends on their industry.

ZBrush is going to be the cheapest way to get your feet wet. Choose your other apps based upon the industry that you want to go into within the CG field.

thank you very much for your reply ill keep it in mind

I agree with aurick, but it’s interesting. Not too long ago I saw a job ad from Dreamworks on CreativeHeads for a modeler and they specifically stated in the ad that they preferred someone who was adept at NURBS and poly modeling over someone who was more comfortable in a sculpting app.

What I found even more strange was that they wanted the candidate to know Pearl or MEL. I was honestly quite surprised by what they were asking for.

The impression I’ve gotten is that we’re still going to through the latter end of that transitionary period where not all companies have a pipeline in place for digital sculpting. Some studios were early adopters, and others are going to be a little slower on the uptake. Those that aren’t using digital sculpting in their pipeline (yet) probably have good reasons that make sense in their individual case.
