have looked thru out this forum and can find no simple walk thru of how to wrap an alpha around an object, be it a column or anything round like that was hoping someone could help me with this! thank you in advance
You can try unwrapping the object’UV with UV Master or another 3D package, and then fitting the desired alpha on his UV space.
When the map is ready, you can load it as a texture in Zbrush, apply it to the object as a texture map and finally, in the “Deformation” palette, click on"Mask by intensity".
