Need help with my new cintiq 24HD

I just recently bought a 24HD cintiq off of a guy who wasn’t using it. I worked on it for a day and a half and it was working great. I put my computer to sleep shut off my monitor and draped a clean towel over it to keep it from collecting dust. When I got back to working on it, It started to wig out!

There are three touch buttons on the top right: one for info and quick settings, one for the on-screen keyboard, and one to bring up the wacom tablet properties window. When I have the USB to the cintiq plugged in, the cintiq wigs out as if all three of those touch buttons are being pressed simultaneously, rapidly and repeatedly. The windows for all three pop up and go away and so on and so on and the screen is just a flickering mess of windows. If I place a finger or my hand over one or all of the buttons it seems to stop it for a bit (so long as I keep my finger on there), but then starts immediately back up when I remove my finger.

I’ve installed the latest driver, uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled - then I installed the second-to-the-latest driver, uninstalled - then I installed the very first driver. Nothing I try seems to work. I’ve pushed the monitor reset button on the top and that only seems to reset the monitor visual settings - not the wacom tablet functionality.

If anyone has any ideas or has seen this before please respond. I’m flying blind (and perhaps more importantly tablet-less) until I can get this working again. I sent a message to wacom support to, but I wanted to reach out to as many people as possible to see if this problem has been addressed before.

Thanks!
