need help with document background

I have been exporting renders of one of my models in different materials for compositing in photoshop. i was just about to do do a specular pass when zbrush unexpectedly crashed on me. i really need to get this spec pass done but it obviously needs to be taken from the exact same angle as the others. So what i have done is imported one of the other passes into the background and lined up my model exatly how it is in the image.
The problem is that the model seems to partly fall behind the background and is hidden by the imported image. Can anyone tell me if the is a way to get the model to sit infront of the image without moving it or even just get rid of the image without losing the model.
Cheers.

Hey there,

to get your model “on top” of the canvas just get out of edit mode and hit W for move. The gizmo will show up. Place your cursor on the canvas (not on the gizmo) hit ALT on the keyboard and move the mouse up and down. That should bring your model where you want it.

Hope that helps.

cheers dude that worked a treat

Glad i could help
