need help with displacment map export

I’m relatively new to Zbrush and I’m having an issue with exporting my displacement map. I have a female torso. Just painting some simple texture/color and a single scar which is displaced. When I use the MME plugin, it exports a displacement image that has way too much info in it. I would expect a solid grey image with one white line where my “scar” is. What is causing this? I tried various methods like storing a morph target before I increase the division and trying the switch mt option in the MME options but nothing seems to work. I did get it work not using the MME…just using the displacement tool box but in the process of switching morph targets and changing res, I somehow reduced my nice color texture into a blurry mess. What is the proper workflow? See image below of my displacement map which is incorrect.
