I have a quick question and i cant seem to find this really important question answered anywhere. I was wondering if it is possible for me to project and create normal maps from a high res mesh to another one that has nothing to do with the lowest or lower subdivision level. What I have is a high res model in zbrush, and I retopologized over it to be animation friendly and lower the polygon count and created a subtool of it. All I would like to do is export this new retopologized subtool in headus as an obj, create new uvs for it in headus, then reimport it into ZB and then create a normal map in the shape of the uvs that i created in Headus. im trying not to use z brush’s uv mapping tools. I want to know if I can do this in ZB, not xnormal, topogun or anyother software, just zb and headus. theres no goz for headus. thank you.
Thank you very much!
