Need Help Posing High Res Model

I’ve got a 12mil poly model that I want to pose and then render. I have tried different avenues in both ZBrush and Maya to pose him but keep getting a lot of distortion. There are a few subtools that I need posed with the model so I’ve been focusing on Transpose Master. Even with that, though, there are a lot of problems with the end results. This model has taken all of my time for the past week so I’d really like to finish him.

This is the high res model. The webbing for the head and body, the spider on the chest, the lenses, and the lens borders are all separate subtools from the body.
If anyone can help me out I’d be very grateful. If there is no way to pose a model like this without a lot of distortion, I’d also like to know. It just feels like I’ve got to be doing something wrong. I see a lot of people with a single model in two or three different poses without distortion.

You have to get the model in a much lower res state. Use the new Qremesher in the geometry menu, or do a standard retopo. It is impossible to pose a super dense mesh. Once you have the mesh, use the transpose master plugin for posing.

Thank you for the feedback. I think that would work with most models. For this one, though, the webbing becomes much too distorted when using Transpose or any kind of move. I probably should have taken that into consideration. I will most likely pose the model and then go through and remake the webbing with retopology.
