Need help drawing and alligning Details

I’m making a pillar with a continuios grating design going up the side. I can’t seem to draw out the details while alligning them and spacing them perfectly going up the side. I’m aware of the stamp tools but I can’t stamp them equally spaced from eachother.

What tools would I use to perfectly set details equally?

you would want to unwrap the pillar with an even unwrap then use a tiling texture to create a mask that you can then use the deformations on.
