Born from the radioactive fallout of a forgotten atomic event, this fiercely protective mother thrives in the dense, silent jungles of a post-apocalyptic world. As an eyeless predator, she doesn’t rely on sight at all; instead, she uses her super-acute senses of hearing and smell to stalk her prey and protect her territory. Her skin is patterned a lot like a poison dart frog, with striking yellow veins that act as a loud, lethal warning to rivals about her highly toxic nature.
She has an incredibly fast, surprise attack striking with deadly precision using her yellow tipped horns to incapacitate victims with her venom before they even know what hit them.
This whole project actually started when I first saw my friend Camille sketching concepts in her notebook. I was absolutely blown away by her brilliant eye for color and the captivating shapes she was drawing.
I knew right then that I had to team up with her! Her incredible input and ideas helped us rapidly texture Narysta and use PolyPaint to bring those toxic details and vibrant, dangerous colors to life.
This was such a fun collaboration and a perfect example of how two artists can dive into each other’s minds,
blend their knowledge, and create something really special together.
Hope you guys like her!
