Darrick,
You have done an amazing job on this piece. Thank you for talking the time to record everyone one of your steps! I look forward to sharing these step by step videos with the rest of the ZBrush community.
good job, i like the sculpting. i wonder when i can start to making some portfolio like this. hm…i am just a beginner btw
I like your intrepretation of this piece. I agree that it doesn’t have to look exactly like it because we all have different styles. The whole thing has a nice flow and feel to it.
Great job and I empathize your problems with the crashing computer! It can be quite defeating but you pulled up and did a nice job.
WOW…Great job!!
Nice one! Great Job!
Thank you all for your wonderful comments and critiques. I will always welcome critiques it is how we all get better and refine our own artistic eye.
Anything that I will do with this model in the future will have to wait until I get a new computer. I used a laptop for this project and the poor thing is crying for a rest;)
I would like to thank Pixologic for giving me the opportunity to make the videos of my process, and especially to Mr. Knapp for all his help and patience. I hope the videos will help the community.
great work !

Fantastic work. I would say it is like a breath from history. TOP ROW.

Very amazing work, Well done man …
Beautiful work, Wonderful to see more of this kind of work appearing! Top row stuff for sure! There is a famous painting of how Napoleon REALLY looked when he crossed the alps… freezing his butt off hunched over on a donkey.
But David knew what side his bread was buttered on! (And for those unsure the great Jacques-Louis’ surname was NOT pronounced “DAY-vid” it was “dah-VEED”, m’kay?).
btw, what material are you using on these last shots? Looks SO real. Well done…Keep it up!
beautiful updated version, keep up the fun!
great job
Hey, good to see your work here once again! Brilliant execution of the well known painting
great work
That and his eyes also seem tiny bit in the big side, i’d suggest you maybe recede the eyes aswell to give that stern look
