wow kickass job man⦠awesome.
Update:
Beautiful beautiful sculpting - Front page material for certain.
Keep up the great work!
You have my vote
Top Row.
Are you planning on a fully textured render?
The horses eye seems a little exaggerated, inflated to me but you may have intended that.
top row stuff man 4 sure
Thatās a real nice and clean looking model! 5*
nice sculpt but the horses eye looks way too big imo
Absolutely fantastic!
Youāve really captured it
Awesome sculpting,great forms!
a beautiful update Derrick!
Great piece you have here. The eye seems fine to me if i compare it to Davids Painting. What Iām not sure on is the length of the horse. The distance from the seat to the tail. It may be a little to short.
If you look in the painting youāll notice the back leg is a little further away from napoleons foot. Yours is right next to it. But then again. David did want napoleon to look larger than what he was:P.
Sorry for the crit. Its a wonderful work of art. Congratulations :D.
amazing work Derrick !
I donāt wanna be nickpicking but it looks like the horse is laughing, maybe itās the combination of the slight inaccuracy of the eyes and mouth. Still itās amazing work, but you know thatās what happens when you copy a master work, everybody is gonna b****ing about that
Really amazing model there man love the classical feel! 5 stars from me too!
ā¦result!
Aamaaziinggg sculpttt !
Very nicely done and executed. Congrats on the top row. 5 stars!
chheeers,
Fabian
Hey man amazing sculpt well desered top row!
But Iām confused because I remember seeing this exact same sculpt on top-row from before, but anyway congratz again! New version is better.
Wow,⦠really cool sculpt man. (just a couple of crits though,⦠the ankles of the horse a bit thin, pull the ears back more, and just a hair of detail on the haunches thats it)⦠Really really cool stuff.
Please ignore my crit as well. Iām preparing to do a horse myself and Iāve been a bit to deep into their details lately. I actually like the effect the eye gives and it seems to be indicative of the art in that era.
What Iāve learned since yesterday is that it is really not known as many of the finest lineages were eliminated through that period and Warmblood and perhaps Andalusian are the closest guess. There does seem to be agreement they were smaller than modern horses and perhaps had some Arabian blood, hence the smaller head and large eyes. To much information so Iāll stop
My Wife is an equestrian photographer and I promise not to sick her on you. Iām dreading her looking over my shoulder.
Awesome work and congratulations.
It is wonderful to see more work not in the monster, super-hero group. Thank you for sharing your work.
