heres and update on the body. i had alot more done on the whole body, but zbrish kept crashing and i got tired of doing it all over and over agian, but i got some work dont ont he arms and some more on the face. thanks for looking!

youve got a nice texture on the surface - from the distance you showed it.

yeah i cant subdivide any more on my computer to add any fine detail in the end, but i am working on forms and muscle masses anyway.

here is a head i was working on today. started with a sphere and 4 hours later ended up with this bust! this is my second human head, any crits comments, etc are welcome!

So I was messing around with PolyPaint in Zbrush and I decided to be more creative with the head. I painted on skin texture and then let my creativity take over and I ended up with this. It is supposed to be some sort of a medieval peasant who had his eyes removed as a means of punishment. Hope you like it!

I am not entirely done modeling the face, but i was excited to get it textured and posted, so i will post another update soon!

here is an update on the blind monk character. added some more wrinkles. the texture is streching and deforming in some places, but its there more now as a reference, and i will repaint it when i am finished modeling. thanks for viewing! as always input and suggestions are welcome!

*if the proportions of the head look odd, its beacuse its a selection, and not the entire head.

he still seems to have too much fat around the lips, mainly on the left side.

still the texture is realy quite nice and it will be interesting to see how he advances.

okay so i worked some more ont he model, adjusted some of the textures, and i am calling this one done, i am getting bored with it, and i could go one forever tweaking it, and its not bad for a first try (i think)

so anyway, heres where it stands now.

any suggestions are still greatly appreciated

i finally got back to the full body i was modeling. i think its coming along pretty well. the hand still needs work, (i have only just roughed it out) and the lower half of the body is now being formed and such. please leave any tips or suggestions! thanks

Looks pretty good, the face is very good, but the arms seem to be quite a bit too short.

the arms are bent, when they are straight they look pretty good. thanks for the input twitch!

Aye, I noticed they were bent, it just looked like they would be too short regardless. But if you say they are not, then perhaps they are not.

alrighty i did some more work on the figure. i decided to make it a warrior fella. i incuded a pic of what i am going for when this is all done…approximately.

here is an update! added boots (very early sculpting) and a tunic. repositioned the sword (also a redo) and the shield. reposed him slightly.
still to add: chainmail under the tunic, leg guard, arm guard on the sword hand and more wear and tear on the armour. any tips are appreciated!

This is coming along well. Did you use an alpha to sculpt the sword?
Keep up the good work.

the sword, shield and tunic are all sculpted off base meshes from maya, the details on the sword are done with alpha except for the grip. i am not totally done with the hilt, ill post more later. thanks!
