aw wow! those wings look awesome. I love the shading you have on them.
What does your wire look like for the wings?
that looks great, i love the armor on the arms and hands, and the leather bit connecting the breastplate.
cheers!
I can smell a top row thread right here. Just keeps gettting better and better. I like how you have added the red highlights to the feathers.
However the armour on the fingers concerns me, when you pose the character wont they limit the movement of the fingers?
Wow, she’s really quite stunning now! Great work.
!
This is pretty sweet! Reminds me of a girl i dated once…minus the wings and armor…but she was armed! Heh, nice job!!small_orange_diamond

Hey Dudes,
Started blocking in a new sculpture for Kingdom Death!!
Shes the Boss of the White Speakers (the first chick I sculpted for Kingdom Death)
I’ll try keep a record of all the steps etc here, hopefully they might be useful for someone else.
The goal for this one is to have a full size model for my desktop, probably around 9 inches! And will be sharpening up, fattening up or loosing all together many of the small details for the final tabletop version.
The concepts and sketches by the legendary Lokman Lam.

Basic block in shapes:

Alot still to block in, but getting the main things blocked out first. I’ll most likely be sculpting the head seperate and plugging that in later. everything else will be sculpted posed. Also will be moving her staff around the back, impaled in the skull, so she will be leaning against it.
Onwards!!
